Meet your artist- Meredith

“Creativity takes courage.” -Henri Matisse

Making art has been part of my life as long as I can remember. The thrill of getting earring making supplies at the craft store was something my 12 year old self won’t easily forget. Now, as an almost 27 year old in graduate school to be a therapist, it’s more important to me than ever.

I never started making art thinking I’d make a business of it, honestly I never wanted to risk losing my creative spark by making it a job. But! You make enough art and suddenly it feels quite selfish to have it sitting in your house with no one else to appreciate it.

My main mediums right now are epoxy resin and polymer clay. I started working with resin around 2020 when I was freshly graduated from college and had a lot of time to kill. Along with a couple puzzles that never got completed, a container of colorful polymer clay was part of an Amazon order my boyfriend and I made one week we were down with COVID. I haven’t been able to put the stuff down since.

All of my art is meant to be used, used, and used again. I see my coasters spread across your table, encircled by a family playing board games. I imagine my trays brightening your coffee table, the perfect stage for your trinkets. And my magnets are strong enough to hold all the ‘save the dates’ and ‘happy holiday’ cards you can never seem to throw away.

I would be an honor to have my art in your home and I hope you find something on my site that speaks to you.
